Ashley & John 5.23.09

Congratulations to Ashley & John! (more to follow soon...)

Kimberli & Chris 5.9.09

Congratulations to Kimberli & Chris! These two were great! Typically I get to meet my clients before booking or at the very least before the wedding, but this was a special circumstance where we did everything over the phone and via email. Although I had no worries they would be cool people, I had no idea how awesome they would be! I loved Kim's sense of humor, not many bride's say to me "I hope I trip down the aisle - that would be hilarious.." from then on I knew it was gonna be a fun day. Everybody had jokes, or silly things they did which made the day a riot!

It was a long trip up to Gaylord but it was well worth it. Everyone was super nice and things went perfectly. It was also my sister's birthday (who is my photo assistant). At first she was none too thrilled to have to work on her b-day but after spending the day with such a fun couple she really enjoyed herself and had a great birthday. I think what really won her over was the fajita buffet...that rocked! It was a fabulous day and I am so happy I got the chance to hang out with such an awesome crowd!

Katie & Jake 5.16.09

Congrats to Katie & Jake! What a fun day it was to spend with this crowd, not to mention a beautiful day for a wedding! From the plethora of pink (holy moly I have never seen so much pink candy!) to the kick @ss b-ball style entrance complete with thunder sticks, this was one wedding I won't soon forget.

Not only did Katie look absolutely amazing she also provided a little comic relief during the ring exchange. I'll let her share that story but way to go Jake for being the awesome guy he his and going with the flow as his wife decided to make up her own rules, haha. After the ceremony we headed to downtown Birmingham as I risked life and limb venturing into traffic to get that perfect shot - see the sacrifices I make for my brides, lol. From there we headed to the Royalty House to get the real party underway. To my surprise the grand entrance was nothing like I had witnessed before, but it was sweet, just like being at a game "and the crowd goes wild..." The thunder sticks were a huge hit and I know I will be seeing them all over as they are a must for all those sport fans out there!

From the beginning Katie & Jake have been a ton of fun to work with and its been a blast getting to know them. It certainly is a pleasure to have them as part of the Kreativ family and I look forward to the next life milestone that brings us together!
